Steve Sacco

As Vice President of Real Estate for Schneider Electric, Steve Sacco currently leads the real estate strategy, oversees the environmental remediation portfolio and serves as the sustainability ambassador for the North America region. He joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as part of Schneider’s acquisition of Invensys plc.

 

At Invensys plc, a UK-based automation and controls company, Mr. Sacco served as Senior Vice President, Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability where he was responsible for health & safety, compliance, sustainability, environmental remediation, real estate, crisis management and security. He and his team work very closely with the business leaders to ensure the safety and security of people and operations, to manage and reduce operational liabilities and risks, and to identify opportunities for cost savings.

 

Prior to joining Invensys, Mr. Sacco spent 10 years at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), a global provider of environmental, health, safety, and risk consulting services.

 

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Cornell University, a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University. Since 2008, he has lectured on business sustainability topics at the Bentley College McCallum Graduate School of Business, Clark University Graduate School of Management and Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
