Tyler Monzel, Director of Loss Control & Sustainability; Dixie Chemical Co.
Tyler Monzel is Director of Loss Control and Sustainability at Dixie Chemical Co. In the four years he has been in this role, he has assumed responsibility for EHS and management systems, including process safety management (PSM) and management of change (MOC). Dixie Chemical is a specialty chemical manufacturer with products sold in 40 countries worldwide and 150 employees. In 2012, Dixie was awarded the SOCMA Sustainability Award, and the ChemStewards Silver Award for Product Stewardship.
Mr. Monzel has previously worked with Dow Chemical and the Environmental Defense Fund. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA from Rice University.
